Body found behind abandoned house in southwest Atlanta

Authorities are trying to determine the identity of a body found Wednesday in southwest Atlanta.

Officer discovered the badly decomposed remains at the rear of an abandoned house in the 1300 block of Wichita Drive, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.

Jones said an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death.
