Body armor, weapons in SUV stolen in Atlanta

Atlanta police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole a car that contained body armor, a rifle, a shotgun and ammunition.

The owner of the 2007 Black Chevy Suburban, who police did not identify, reported the vehicle stolen around 11 p.m. Saturday from West Peachtree Street and Simpson Street.

Police said the vehicle owner works in private security, possible overseas. The suspect is described as a white male with a shaved head who was last seen wearing a white V-neck shirt and dark blue jeans.

Authorities ask anyone who sees the stolen vehicle to call police. The Suburban's tag  number is: BYK3881.
