Bobby Dodd Way closed due to gas leak

Bobby Dodd Way was closed several hours Tuesday evening due to a gas leak near the Georgia Tech football stadium.

No evacuations were necessary, Matt Nagel, university spokesman, told the AJC.

Atlanta firefighters and Atlanta Gas Light crews arrived to repair the leak Tuesday afternoon, Nagel said. By 9 p.m., the gas line had been clamped, but repairs continued, he said.
