The Henry County Board of Commissioners voted at its June 19 regular business meeting to approve a rezoning from C-2 general commercial to C-3 highway commercial for about 2.5 acres of property located in the southeast corner of Hwy. 155 and Bill Gardner Parkway in Locust Grove.

The developer’s stated purpose for the site is to build an internal access self-storage facility. The commissioners approved the request with the stipulation that an internal access facility be the only use permitted on the site.

The vote to approve the motion was unanimous.
