Silver MARTA Breeze Cards will completely replace blue cards July 9.

In a few days, anyone who tries to gain access to MARTA with a blue Breeze Card will be denied entry.

Blue cards can't be used after Sunday, and any value not transferred to a new card before then will be lost. Check your MARTA Breeze card's balance here.

Customers can call customer service or visit the RideStores at the Airport or Five Points stations to transfer balances.

MARTA customer service can be reached at 404-848-5000 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The silver cards cost $2 plus the selected fare and will be valid for three years after the purchase date, according to the website.

The blue Breeze Cards, which could be compromised and exposed to fraudulent activity, are being replaced with silver cards that have a more secure chip.
