Blasting will continue through February for the Highway 92 widening through Douglasville.

The blasting zones are Cooper Street, traveling north to Highway 78, and 6164 East Broad St., traveling west to Hagen Street.

Most detonations will occur around 2 p.m. daily but with very minimal or noticeable excavation effects.

Heavy sand or dirt charge covers of four to five feet are used over each charge detonation to provide minimal to no debris.

Also, blasting will have one- to two-minute delays to no impact on traffic flow.
