After stuffing their face with turkey, some Atlanta residents will partake in what’s been deemed an American holiday in its own right: Black Friday.

Atlanta malls will have special hours for those looking to get a head start on those holiday gifts.

Lenox Mall will be open from 5 p.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday and from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday.

Phipps Plaza is closed Thanksgiving, but will open two hours early at 8 a.m. for Black Friday.

On the city's southside, Greenbriar Mall will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. However, Macy's will be open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. The mall will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for Black Friday.
