Next time you see a giant yellow-orange truck with a leggy peach emblazoned on it, run — don’t walk — in its direction.

Because it'll likely be Big Peach Running Co.'s new mobile store, "Big Peach On Wheels." The 30-foot truck, equipped with audio and video, includes shoe-fitting technology and more than 400 pairs of shoes, socks and inserts for sale.

The mobile store will make its debut at the Atlanta Beltline’s Westside 5K/8K on July 14. In addition to partnering with local races, visits will be scheduled at Atlanta-based corporate campuses and office parks.

Founder and co-owner Mike Cosentino said the new service will marry convenience with “world class customer service.”

“We’ll also be able to reach areas that lack experienced and knowledgeable specialty retail that can help enhance and grow a pedestrian active lifestyle,” Cosentino said in a statement.

The company has seven locations in metro Atlanta.
