Lilburn is partnering with a bicycle rental service to provide a new amenity on the Camp Creek Greenway Trail. The Lilburn City Council unanimously approved an agreement Monday for RIDE LLC to rent bicycles in the Greenway parking lot on Main Street.

The vendor will enter into a two-year lease agreement, with the option to renew, and will compensate the city for actual electricity costs related to the operation. The company will only be allowed to advertise on the company’s trailer and rental equipment. No additional signage will be allowed. In addition, the vendor will pay for all insurance related to use of the equipment. The city will not be liable for any personal injuries, property damage, or loss due to vandalism, theft, or accidents. RIDE is expected to begin operation in the next two weeks.
