Across DeKalb County, fall — and maybe a bit of winter and summer depending on which way the wind is blowing — is in the air.
Which means it's a good time to get out and see what colors the season has to offer as the leaves change. One solid spot is Stone Mountain Park.
Jeanine Jones, public relations head for the park, said the best spot to see the leaves is the top of the mountain.

"You get a panoramic view of the entire park by going up the Summit Skyride (cable car) or walking the 1.3 mile walk up trail," Jones said. "Another spot that is a favorite is the covered bridge inside Stone Mountain Park. The lake reflects all of the fall hues beautifully."
