Berkeley Lake paving project moving forward

The Berkeley Lake City Council on March 19 reviewed a third party assessment of road conditions for streets the city has maintenance responsibility. Based on the study, the city council approved repaving of the older sections of Ridge Road, Lakeshore Drive from 265 Lakeshore Drive to South Berkeley Lake Road, Hilltop Lane, and Lakefield Bend in the Berkeley Field subdivision.

Payment for the $7,800 project will come from the Georgia Local Maintenance and Improvement Grants from 2013 and 2015, City/County SPLOST and City SPLOST funding.
