Berkeley Lake approves annexation of 15 homes
The Berkeley Lake Planning and Zoning Commission approved the annexation of 15 homes that were slated for inclusion in the new city of Peachtree Corners.
Berkeley Lake Mayor Lois Salter said the homeowners asked to be annexed into the city.
Leaders in Peachtree Corners, which voters chose to incorporate on Nov. 8, said they planned to review Berkeley Lake’s move to annex the homes. They are still attempting to determine whether annexation by other municipalities is allowed once voters approved the referendum.
