Beecher Hills Elementary gets prestigious ‘IB' status

Atlanta's Beecher Hills Elementary School has officially gained "International Baccalaureate" status. I.B. is considered a rigorous program that emphasizes a global context to educating students. To earn the designation, schools must undergo an intensive, and sometimes expensive, review of curriculum and staff by the Switzerland-based organization. Atlanta Public Schools offers IB schools at every grade level.
