Roswell's Barrington Hall will begin hosting a series of lectures at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month beginning July 6. Each lecture will last about an hour, and there will be a question and answer period.

The first lecture, “The Civil War in the Words of Martha Stewart Bulloch,” will be presented by Gwen Koehler, education director at Bulloch Hall.

Participants are asked for a donation of $5. Barrington Hall is at 535 Barrington Drive in Roswell.
