Already under fire for inflammatory remarks he recently made about African Americans and Democrats, Fayette County Commissioner David Barlow publicly endorsed a violent anti-abortion film at the Jan. 22 commission meeting. Barlow told the audience that he and his wife participated in the Georgia March for Life at the state capitol earlier that day, where the keynote speaker was Molotov Mitchell.

Mitchell produced the film “Gates of Hell,” a fictional account of an African-American vigilante group that stalks and kills doctors who perform abortions. Barlow said the film shows “the true agenda of Planned Parenthood,” and added, “I would recommend that y’all Google that and watch it.”
