The Locust Grove City Council voted at its Oct. 7 regular meeting to approve a conditional use request for a 2.83-acre tract zoned OI (office-institutional) at 3300 Hwy. 42, at the intersection of Market Place Boulevard.

This request is to allow a drive-through facility at a financial institution. According to city staff documents, the applicant has expressed plans to develop the site with a branch bank building fronting Hwy. 42 in the range of 2,000-3,000 square feet, along with a single-story medical office building approximately 15,000 square feet in the back of the property.
