A resolution approving the purchase of LED sports field lighting for the North Ola Park expansion at a cost of $264,235 was approved July 17 by the Henry County Board of Commissioners.

The project will be funded by the current SPLOST. The park expansion is currently under construction. Musco Lighting, LLC provided the approved bid to furnish and install LED sports field lighting; the scope of work includes furnishing and installing all associated hardware, wiring, etc. required for a turnkey project for one 300-foot-radius baseball field and one 225-foot-radius baseball field.
