Avondale hires new city clerk, communications manager

Avondale Estates recently announced the hiring of Gina Hill as the new city clerk, and Debbie Revzin as new city communications manager. Hill replaces Juliette Sims-Owens, who resigned suddenly on May 4 after seven years on the job. Revzin replaces Kelly Brooks, who’ll remain until October helping train Revzin.

Hill is a 13-year resident of the city and previously worked as a freelance writer and editor for WebMD, the health information website. She starts work Tuesday. Revzin, who started training this week, has been director of operations and events for the Avondale’s Tudor Square the past two years.
