Avondale Estates launches new web site

After a two-month redesign process Avondale Estates debuted its new web site Thursday at the same URL as the old site, avondaleestates.org.

The web site features city news and events on the homepage as requested through responses in a community survey. It also features improved navigation, a far more effective search function and a cleaner more readable design compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Other new functions include notifications of community activities and meetings, emergency and news alerts, a business directory and a commercial real estate locator.
