Avondale Estates will pave four city roads beginning today, with the project scheduled to wrap by Thanksgiving, weather permitting.

Roads getting paved: North Clarendon Avenue from North Avondale Road to Old Rockbridge Road; Berkeley Road from Clarendon Avenue to Dunwick Drive; Lakeshore Drive from Hess Drive to the dead-end of Lakeshore Drive; and Hess Drive from Wiltshire Drive to the cul-de-sac.

A paving schedule is on the city’s website at goo.gl/7vyD3Z.

Cost is about $450,000, with $75,000 of that coming from a Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant, the rest paid by the city.
