Avalon holding family-friendly ‘Noon Year’s Eve’ event

If you want your children to join in on the New Year festivities but you want to get your champagne on at night, Avalon is offering a solution.

The Hotel at Avalon is hosting a "Noon Year's Eve" party on Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to the Avalon website.

Tickets for adults and adults over age 2 are $15, and children under 2 are free. Proceeds will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. You can buy tickets online.

DJ Willy Wow, a kid-friendly emcee will play tunes.

There will be face painting, crafts and a countdown until noon for the giant balloon drop to welcome in 2019.

The hotel is located at 9000 Avalon Boulevard in Alpharetta.
