Three new fashion retailers — two of them women's boutiques — are planned to open as part of Avalon's expansion in spring 2017.

Boogaloos, Scout & Molly's and Hammer Made will join other confirmed businesses including Brooks Brothers, Urban Outfitters, Rumi's Kitchen, The Boardroom Salon for Men, Lucky Brand, Levi's, Barleygarden Kitchen and Craft Bar and Brine Fish House. The Hotel at Avalon and the Alpharetta Conference Center should arrive in early 2018.

Boogaloos, which sells high-end clothing, jewelry, home goods and handbags, seems like a perfect fit for Avalon. The locally owned store already has locations at Ponce City Market and Town Brookhaven.

Most of Scout & Molly's many stores are concentrated on the east coast, but this will be the first Georgia location for the shop that originated in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2002.

Hammer Madefounded in 2009, is a Minnesota-based menswear store with tailored shirts, ties, denim, belts and knitwear.
