Authorities identify man found dead at south Fulton clubhouse

Fulton County police are looking for the person who shot and killed an Atlanta man Monday night at a neighborhood clubhouse.
Officers found the man, identified Tuesday by the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office as Erston D. Hawkins, 21, dead in the parking lot of the Montclaire Estates clubhouse, near Campbellton and New Hope roads, Detective Melissa Parker said.
Residents of the southwest Fulton County neighborhood told police they heard gunfire shortly after 8 p.m. Monday.
"That’s when they noticed a male down in the parking lot of the clubhouse, as well as a car leaving the scene," Parker told the AJC.
