Author Bill York will speak at the Gwinnett Historical Society meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse, 185 Crogan St., Lawrenceville.
York is a World War II Navy veteran and host of wilderness documentaries for Georgia Public Television. He is the author of six books and has lived on Indian reservations in Canada, the Dakotas and the Pacific Northwest.
The event is free and open to the public.
