An Austell woman has died from the injuries she suffered in a wreck last week, Cobb County police said Monday.

The crash happened just before 10 a.m. March 26 on Flint Hill Road near Dogwood Hills Court in Austell.

Patsy White, 54, was a front-seat passenger in a car involved in the collision. She was transported to Wellstar Cobb Hospital, police said.

Cobb authorities were informed Wednesday that White had died.

Investigators said they believe 86-year-old Myrtis Angelette of Austell was traveling southbound and attempting to turn left into a private driveway off Flint Hill Road when her silver 2007 Lincoln Town Car collided with a beige 2003 Dodge Neon going northbound.

The Dodge, driven by Fayenell Engrisch, 64, of Mableton, hit the right side of the Lincoln, investigators said. White was a passenger in the Dodge.

After the crash, Angelette was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn, police said.

The investigation is continuing. Police asked anyone with information on the case to call 770-499-3987.
