The Austell Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. March 17 at the city’s Threadmill Complex, first floor courtroom, 5000 Austell-Powder Springs Road to hear the request from Newton Business Park Inc. for a special land use permit.
This permit would allow the installation of equipment in new customer-owned vehicles at 2471 Veterans Memorial Highway.
Austell Mayor Joe Jerkins and the city council will hear the request at 7 p.m. April 6 in the council chambers, City Hall, 2716 Broad St.
Anyone wishing to speak in opposition must sign up one day before the hearings at the Community Development Department, Threadmill Complex, Suite 101 or 770-944-4309.
