Attorney general and transportation tax on civic association agenda

Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens will speak at the Aug. 31 meeting of the East Cobb Civic Association.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. in the community room of the East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Rd., Suite 510-B, Marietta.

At the subsequent meeting on Sept. 28, East Cobb resident Kevin Doyle, who is also communications director for the Liveable Communities Coalition, will speak about the upcoming transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax vote in July, 2012. That meeting will be held at the East Cobb Government Center, 4400 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta.
