The weekend’s dry weather pattern continues Monday morning in Atlanta.

Afternoon, isolated showers are possible. Not everyone will get rain, but those who do will see “heavy downpours,” said Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton early Monday.

Humidity will increase with temperatures.

Highs for most of the week are expected at or just below 90. The chance of rain increases later in the week, with a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms starting Wednesday in Atlanta.

Scattered showers and storms are expected over the weekend.
