Atlanta weather | Warmer temperatures ahead
Sunday got off to a cool start with temperatures in the 40s in metro Atlanta, but a warming trend is ahead.
The day will be a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 69 degrees, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

A cool Sunday evening will lead to Monday morning lows near 50, Nitz said.
High temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid 70s through the week, with lows in the 50s.
Clear skies are in the forecast for most of the week, with a 20 percent chance of rain Thursday.
