Metro Atlanta is in for an interesting and busy weather week, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz.

"Clouds will increase tonight and we’ll start Monday with a few showers," Nitz said. The low Monday will be around 45 degrees and the high will be 60.

Expect a warmer Tuesday with highs about 69 -- 10 degrees above average for this time of year and a low of 50, said Nitz.

Then watch out for a warm Wednesday. "I expect we’ll make it into the 70s Wednesday, but a developing storm system will bring storms and the threat for severe weather midweek," he added.
