Mother’s Day will continue to be beautiful, as it should.

And it will continue to be warmer than it was last week and yesterday with high temperatures reaching into the mid 80s.

But by Monday, the totally cloudless sky will be gone, replaced by a few wisps of white. There will be a slight — very slight — chance of rain late Tuesday.

There will be a “warm start to your work week,” according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan.

There is a 20 percent chance of late showers on Tuesday, a 30 percent chance of isolated afternoon showers on Wednesday and scattered storms Thursday and Friday.

Lows will be in the 60s throughout the five-day forecast.
