Don't pack away that parka, scarf and hat just yet.

Cold mornings are going to stick around for the next couple of days, according to Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brad Nitz. "We’ll start the morning near our average low in the mid 30s in Atlanta, but the suburbs will dip below freezing, even into the upper 20s in spots," Nitz said.

However, despite the cold start, metro Atlanta will warm to highs in the 60s with sunshine Monday and Tuesday, Nitz said. Expected a high of 62 on Monday and 67 on Tuesday.

By midweek clouds and showers will return, but afternoon temperatures will remain in the mid 60s.
