Alpharetta road crews continued around-the-clock schedules Friday addressing ice on area streets and roads.

Early Friday, conditions on main streets and thoroughfares had improved to where crews could turn their attention to  neighborhood streets, said Assistant City Manager James Drinkard. Other crews focused on icy patches that have persisted or re-formed in low-lying or shady areas, especially along sections of Kimball Bridge, Rucker, and Webb Bridge roads, Drinkard said.
