Our crazy quilt of a city is all things to most people.

According to various “studies” and “polls” that litter the interwebz, we are nerdy, smart, redneck and very stressed. We are also the best place to move to, the best place for new college grads — but wait! there’s a new study today that says Atlanta is worst among 75 cities for college students to live. Which suggests that this is a tough place for undergrads but becomes magically accommodating once they’ve acquired that diploma.

Today’s Bill Torpy at large explores the various ways Atlanta rates and ranks and doesn’t, and who some of the raters and rankers are.
