City of Atlanta residents can come by the atrium at Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity St., from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, March 23 to pick up a free water saver kit and enter a raffle to win a low flow toilet.

The offer and raffle are among the events of “Fix-A-Leak Week,” which started March 20 and goes through March 26. Atlanta’s Department of Watershed Management is participating by providing money saving tips, water conservation and leak detection education. Other “Fix-A-Leak Week,” events have included a 5K at the Chattahoochee Nature Center, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The department of watershed management suggests checking for leaks in the toilet, twisting plumbing lines; and replacing old household fixtures. The water saver kits are also available at all City of Atlanta fire stations.
