The Atlanta Regional Taekwondo Tournament was held Saturday at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Morgan Utt, 4, competes in the Tiny Tigers (for ages 3-6) division.

Caleb Nelson, 7, of Warner Robins, takes a respectful bow to the judges after his performance. The tournament drew more than 1,500 competitors of all ages from 3 to people in their 80s.

Judges vote on an athlete's performance. People traveled from all over the country to compete in the tournament.

Todd Droege, who teaches Taekwondo in Powder Springs, acknowledges the applause and respectful bows of competitors during the opening ceremonies. Droege is a 7th degree Senior Master black belt.
