Atlanta police are looking for an armed man who robbed a convenience store early Saturday.

Surveillance cameras recorded the incident as the man fired his handgun three times during the robbery at Dill Avenue Grocery in the 600 block of the street, police said.

The man got away with about $200 from the cash register and lottery tickets.

Witnesses told police they saw a man wearing a blue Timberland hoodie and a blue skull cap force his way inside the store and hold a gun to the clerk's head. Surveillance footage shows the suspect forcing the clerk inside the booth, first firing one round toward the front door and later two others inside the booth, police said.

The man fled on foot and was last seen running toward Metropolitan Parkway, witnesses told police.

The suspect is described as black male 23 to 28 years old, authorities said. He is 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-11 and weighs 180 to 200 pounds.
