Atlanta police release sketches in school parking lot armed robbery

Atlanta police on Friday released two sketches of suspects investigators believe were involved when a Boyd Elementary School employee was shot at recently while hanging onto a getaway car that had the woman’s purse.

Marshae Wilson, who was found lying on the pavement and crying Sept. 11, said she saw four men trying to steal the purse from her parked car and she tried to stop them.

The cafeteria worker held on to the window of the Honda Accord as it sped away. She said she finally let go and fell to the ground after the driver pulled out a gray and black handgun and fired two shots at her.

Police also released video hoping someone will be able to connect the images in the sketches to the vehicle in the video.
