Atlanta police investigating death

Homicide detectives were dispatched to a scene regarding a deceased person Monday night, Atlanta police said.
The incident happened in the 2000 block of Verbena Street in northwest Atlanta.
The preliminary investigation has not revealed any signs of foul play, Atlanta police spokesman Officer John Chafee said. The cause of death is pending autopsy results.
No other information was immediately available.
