The Atlanta Mission has wrapped up the final touches on a rebranding initiative begun two years ago.

The effort, done by Matchstic, a Atlanta brand identify firm, included changing the nonprofit's name from the Atlanta Union Mission as well as updating the logo, unifying the brand and vision statement. Atlanta Mission was the "2010 On The House" recipient.

The idea, in part, was to establish a clearer identity around the nonprofit's main objective of ending homelessness.

The final piece of the initiative was the addition of external signs on all facilities. My Sister's House and The Shepherd's Inn had two large emblems installed that feature the Atlanta Mission lantern and tagline: "Ending Homelessness."
