An information technology manager was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison Thursday for attempting to arrange a sexual encounter with a prepubescent girl.

Mark Michael Stevens, 43, met who he thought was the mother of an 8-year-old in an online chat room, "dad&daughtersex," last summer. Stevens, of Atlanta, was actually chatting with an undercover FBI officer, and he made his intentions clear in a graphic dialogue that continued for several days, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.

It wouldn't be his first such encounter, said Stevens, using the online moniker "WickeDad." He proceeded to send nude photos of himself and provided a phone number in hopes of setting up a tryst, the attorney's office said. They agreed to a meeting on Sept. 2, 2009, at a popular Sandy Springs restaurant with the understanding that they would then go to the mother's apartment so Stevens could have sex with the girl. He was arrested in the restaurant's parking lot.

Stevens faces a lifetime of supervised release following his release from prison.
