An Atlanta man died after a being shot and crashing his car in south Fulton County early Sunday morning, police said.

Fulton County police responding to a report of a crash shortly before 1 a.m. found a vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 5300 block of Old National Highway. Inside, police found 29-year-old Domain Taylor suffering from gunshot wounds, police said. He died being transported to a local hospital.

Another man in the car had been shot in the arm, but fled before police arrived.

A third man was not injured and gave a statement to police. He told police the men were shot by a man wearing a mask who pulled behind their car, which was parked in the 2200 block of Pleasant Hill Road. The men tried to drive to a hospital but crashed about a mile away from the scene of the shooting.
