The city of Atlanta recently launched an online tool to help people plan their travel while the I-85 bridge that collapsed following a fire in early April is being rebuilt.

The CommuteATL map incorporates real-time traffic alert information including road closures, accidents, and current travel speeds from the Waze Connected Citizen Program, a free data-sharing partnership in which the city is participating. The map has real-time schedule information for transportation modes including the Atlanta Streetcar, MARTA bus and rail schedules and parking lot conditions, and it shows the locations of Relay Bike Share stations.

The CommuteATL team will be adding more features, city said.
