Mayor Kasim Reed and the Atlanta Workforce Development Agency unveiled the Career Coach, a state-of-the-art mobile career center created to help underserved jobseekers in Atlanta.

“Over the past several years, Atlanta’s economy has continued to thrive,” said Mayor Kasim Reed. “It is our responsibility to ensure that every resident has the chance to take part in that prosperity. The Career Coach is yet another tool that will help us succeed in that effort.”

The Career Coach is ADA accessible and features 12 desktop computers, LED lighting, free Wi-Fi and satellite, an additional meeting room, and interior and exterior 40-inch LCD monitors. It will be deployed to high unemployment areas where residents lack transportation, allowing them to register for Workforce programs.
