The Atlanta Jazz Festival has canceled one of its upcoming events.

The Kona Pool Party will not take place due to a forecast of heavy rain, organizers announced Monday. The event was scheduled for Thursday.

The pool party, sponsored by Kona Brewing, will not be rescheduled. Tickets will be refunded.

The festival's Neighborhood Jazz Series event scheduled April 23 at Grant Park was also canceled, due to rain.

And the Atlanta Jazz Festival's International Jazz Day concert scheduled for April 30 was canceled due to the illness of one of the headliners, South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela of The Jazz Epistles.
