May 15, 2013Atlanta Public Schools may sell the site of the former North Fulton High School for $6 million to the private school that currently leases it, Atlanta International School.
The proposed sale of the Buckhead property would help the school district raise money to help plug a $61 million budget deficit projected for the 2013-2014 school year.
Atlanta International School, a 1,113-student International Baccalaureate school, has leased the property from the city school district since 1995.
