Atlanta homebuying workshop and bus tour scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18

Atlanta City Council Member Cleta Winslow and Invest Atlanta, the city's economic development agency, will host a homebuying workshop and tour from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m Saturday, Aug. 18. The morning informational session will take place in the Council Chamber of Atlanta City Hall, 55 Trinity Ave. The bus tour of Atlanta neighborhoods will begin at 11:45 a.m. Attendees will receive information on tax credits and Neighborhood Stabilization Program and may be eligible to receive up $40,000 in down payment assistance to purchase a home in the city.
