Canton Police say two men found behind a strip mall Tuesday likely died from exposure to the frigid elements.

The men, Hispanics in their late 30s, were found behind the Harmon Center in the 550 block of Marietta Road -- a popular hangout spot. There was no indication of foul play, Canton Police Det. G. Alan Rivas said.

"They had apparently been on a drinking binge," Rivas said. Their bodies were well-preserved by the cold.

Only one of the men, a 39-year-old from Guatemala, has been identified, though police are not releasing his name because they've been unable to locate any family members. His roommate said he last saw him two weeks ago.

The other man was believed to be homeless, Rivas said.
