The city of Atlanta will open a warming shelter at 4 p.m. Friday. It will be open until noon Saturday, according to Atlanta police.

The low expected Friday night is 30 degrees.

The Old Adamsville Recreation Center is located at 3404 Delmar Lane NW. Men, women and children are welcome.

Transportation will be provided at Gateway Center, 275 Pryor St.
