The Atlanta Police Department has asked that the public be on the lookout for a man wanted in connection with two separate crimes that happened over two weeks in September.
Cornelius Arnold, also known as “Gino” or “Geno,” was allegedly involved in an armed robbery that took place Sept. 7 on Alison Court in southwest Atlanta.
The victim told police she was walking with two men she knew as “Gino” and “Big Guy.” When the trio walked into an apartment complex, they were approached by a third man who brandished a gun, police said.
The victim was “forced to perform oral sex on the third individual at gunpoint,” according to a police report. The report said Arnold, 28, took her purse and $360 cash; the third man allegedly took her cell phone.
Less than two weeks later, Arnold, who is on APD's "most wanted" list, allegedly beat his girlfriend with a broom and choked her with a cord. He'd become "increasingly jealous and violent" during their relationship, according to a Sept. 18 incident report.
